Quick answers

How do I play?

A small target skewer in the top-right corner shows the order of ingredients you need, from the bottom up. Ingredients fall from the sky while the hand at the bottom swings left and right, holding a skewer. Tap when the right ingredient is just above the tip of the skewer to snap it on. Collect the whole target in order to clear it and move on to the next one. Skewer a wrong ingredient and the run ends.

What happens if I tap at the wrong time?

Up to level 3, nothing happens: the game just waits for the next ingredient. From level 4, a tap with nothing to catch knocks off your last ingredient and uses up a heart. You get 3 hearts for each skewer, and the run ends when they are gone. The game also tells you when this rule starts.

How do levels work?

As you clear skewers, your level goes up. Higher levels bring more kinds of ingredients, a faster hand, faster falling ingredients and a few extra twists. When a run ends, you start again from level 1.

What does the ↔ button do?

It makes the hand swing the other way. There is a short cooldown after each press, so the hand cannot be held in one place.

Where are my best score and nickname saved? Can I move them to a new phone?

On your device only. There is no account, so they do not sync between devices. If you delete the game or switch phones without restoring a device backup, you will start fresh.

How do I change my nickname?

Tap your nickname on the start screen (it shows “· Edit”). Use 2–18 characters (letters, numbers and underscores). You can change it once a day. The nickname stays on your device and is not shown to other players.

I can’t hear any sound.

Check that your phone’s volume is up and that the Sound button on the start screen says “Sound: On”. On Android, also make sure the media volume is not at zero. If it is still silent, close the game completely and open it again. If that does not help, email us with your phone model and OS version.

How do I turn the sound off?

Tap the Sound button on the start screen, in the pause menu, or on the game-over card. The game’s sound plays even if your iPhone’s silent switch is on, so use this button to mute it. Music from other apps keeps playing.

Why are there ads, and can I change my ad settings?

Skewer Snap is free and supported by ads: a banner at the bottom of the screen and a full-screen ad after some game-overs, never in the middle of a run. Ads come from Google AdMob. You can limit ad personalization in your phone’s settings, and where your region requires an ad-consent choice, the “Ad privacy settings” button on the start screen lets you review it. Details are in our Privacy Policy. There is no option to remove ads at the moment. If an ad looks inappropriate, email us a screenshot and we will report it to Google.

Do I need an internet connection?

You can play offline. Ads need a connection, so they may not appear when you are offline.

The game froze or crashed.

Close the game completely and reopen it, and make sure you have the latest version. If it keeps happening, email us with your phone model, OS version and what you were doing.

What data does the game collect?

There is no account and no server of ours that stores personal information. Your best score, nickname and settings stay on your device, and Google AdMob handles the ad-related data described in our Privacy Policy.

자주 묻는 질문

게임은 어떻게 하나요?

오른쪽 위의 작은 목표 꼬치가 필요한 재료 순서를 아래에서 위로 보여 줘요. 하늘에서 재료가 떨어지고, 아래에서는 꼬치를 든 손이 좌우로 왔다 갔다 해요. 알맞은 재료가 꼬치 끝 바로 위에 왔을 때 화면을 탭하면 꼬치에 꽂혀요. 목표를 순서대로 모두 채우면 그 꼬치를 완성하고 다음 꼬치로 넘어가요. 다른 재료를 꽂으면 실패해요.

엉뚱한 타이밍에 탭하면 어떻게 되나요?

3레벨까지는 아무 일도 없고 다음 재료를 기다려요. 4레벨부터는 꽂을 재료가 없을 때 탭하면 마지막으로 꽂은 재료가 튕겨 나가고 하트가 하나 줄어요. 하트는 꼬치마다 3개이고, 모두 사라지면 실패해요. 이 규칙이 시작될 때는 게임에서도 알려 줘요.

레벨은 어떻게 오르나요?

꼬치를 성공할수록 레벨이 올라가요. 레벨이 높아지면 재료 종류가 늘고, 손과 재료가 더 빨라지고, 몇 가지 새로운 규칙이 더해져요. 실패하면 1레벨부터 다시 시작해요.

↔ 버튼은 무슨 기능인가요?

손이 움직이는 방향을 반대로 바꿔요. 누른 뒤에는 잠깐 쉬는 시간이 있어서 손을 한 자리에 붙잡아 둘 수는 없어요.

최고 점수와 닉네임은 어디에 저장되나요? 새 휴대폰으로 옮길 수 있나요?

기기에만 저장돼요. 계정이 없어서 기기 간에 동기화되지 않아요. 기기 백업을 복원하지 않고 게임을 삭제하거나 휴대폰을 바꾸면 처음부터 시작해요.

닉네임은 어떻게 바꾸나요?

시작 화면에서 닉네임(“· 변경”이라고 적혀 있어요)을 탭하세요. 2~18글자의 글자·숫자·밑줄을 쓸 수 있고, 하루에 한 번 바꿀 수 있어요. 닉네임은 기기에만 저장되며 다른 플레이어에게 보이지 않아요.

소리가 안 들려요.

휴대폰 볼륨이 켜져 있는지, 시작 화면의 소리 버튼이 “소리: 켜짐”인지 확인해 주세요. Android 에서는 미디어 볼륨이 0이 아닌지도 확인해 주세요. 그래도 안 들리면 게임을 완전히 종료했다가 다시 실행해 보세요. 계속되면 휴대폰 기종과 OS 버전을 적어 메일로 보내 주세요.

소리를 끄려면 어떻게 하나요?

시작 화면, 일시정지 메뉴, 실패 결과 카드에 있는 소리 버튼을 탭하세요. 게임 소리는 iPhone 무음 스위치가 켜져 있어도 나오니, 끄고 싶으면 이 버튼을 사용하세요. 다른 앱에서 재생 중인 음악은 끊기지 않아요.

왜 광고가 나오나요? 광고 설정을 바꿀 수 있나요?

꼬치꼬치는 무료이며 광고로 운영돼요. 화면 아래 배너와, 일부 게임 오버 뒤의 전면 광고가 나오고, 플레이 도중에는 나오지 않아요. 광고는 Google AdMob 이 제공해요. 맞춤 광고는 휴대폰 설정에서 제한할 수 있고, 광고 동의 선택이 필요한 지역에서는 시작 화면의 “광고 개인정보 설정” 버튼으로 선택을 다시 확인할 수 있어요. 자세한 내용은 개인정보처리방침을 참고해 주세요. 지금은 광고를 없애는 옵션이 없어요. 부적절한 광고를 보셨다면 스크린샷과 함께 메일로 알려 주세요. Google 에 신고할게요.

인터넷이 연결되어 있어야 하나요?

오프라인에서도 플레이할 수 있어요. 광고는 인터넷 연결이 필요해서 오프라인에서는 나오지 않을 수 있어요.

게임이 멈추거나 꺼져요.

게임을 완전히 종료했다가 다시 실행하고, 최신 버전인지 확인해 주세요. 계속되면 휴대폰 기종, OS 버전, 그때 하던 일을 적어 메일로 보내 주세요.

게임이 어떤 데이터를 수집하나요?

계정이 없고, 개인정보를 저장하는 회사의 서버도 없어요. 최고 점수·닉네임·설정은 기기에만 저장되고, 광고 관련 데이터는 Google AdMob 이 처리해요. 자세한 내용은 개인정보처리방침을 참고해 주세요.
